Nominated by the Bush Theatre for the Relentless Award in 2015. This is a showcase reading of award-winning playwright A.C. Smith’s arresting and fearless new play, presented with a view towards attracting industry support for a production in 2017.

Rob is convinced he’s falling for the girl next door, who idolizes him. The only problem? She’s ten years old. These Violent Delights presents the twists and turns of adolescence in all their agonizing glory.  But consequences are real.  And sixteen-year-old Rob’s decisions about what kind of man he’s going to be to be may end up a life or death choice.
